The journey
Kilimanjaro
Kilimanjaro rises independently from the Tanzanian plateau to 19,341 feet, making it Africa's highest summit and the world's tallest free-standing mountain.
The journey combines seven days on the mountain with a five-day wildlife safari and travel days. The climb is active and challenging but non-technical, and guests carry a light pack while the local staff manages camp and group equipment.
The itinerary is built to allow more rest, better preparation for the climb, and meaningful time on safari after the summit effort.
Culture & setting
The program flies through Kilimanjaro International Airport near Arusha, preserving more time for Tanzania and avoiding a long overland transfer from Nairobi.
